Vintage Meets Kmart Fashion: The Berlin Edition

There were a ton of antique and vintage clothing stores in Berlin. My first two days of my trip were spent hitting up several vintage hotspots. One store in particular had a daily “happy hour” in which everything was 20% off and they charged you based on the weight of everything chosen. You can imagine my thrill when I walked out of their doors with three vintage skirts and two tote bags for a little under $20. Being that I love skirts with a high waist and long pleats, I put together a look based off an olive and black skirt that dates back to the ‘70s.
(1) A vintage 1970’s skirt (similar style at Kmart)
(2) The Attention Ruffle Waist Blazer helps bring structure to this look.
(3) The burst of a bright colored tank layered under the blazer gives the skirt a more modern feel.
(4) Extra edge in the form of boots with buckles wrap up the look.
(5) Crossbody bags will always get my vote.
