Why choose just one theme for your fashion show when you can have six? That’s what Gwen Stefani did for her Fall/Winter 2011 L.A.M.B. collection that closed down the house at Lincoln Center for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Showing to a packed room, L.A.M.B. wasn’t organized like a traditional runway show with the models strutting out one after another to parade down the catwalk and pirouette in front of the photographers. Instead, a group of models came out together each displaying a particular trend or look in its entirety and then breaking off one by one to stroll down the cat walk.
From soldier girls in aviator sunglasses to 70’s disco glamour girls, this show had it all, then some. This time the prints were mostly inspired by Navajo Indians with oversized beanie hats as pairings for a Jamaican Rasta look.
The best part of the show? Gwen took her final bow in an asymmetrical print dress with her son Kingston chasing adorably after her. Awww too cute!
