Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays simply because it’s an excuse to indulge your favorite foods and to spend quality time with your family and friends. Since I’ve lived in New York, I unfortunately haven’t spent time with my parents back in San Francisco for Thanksgiving. That’s why it’s extremely important for me to share a memorable meal with my closest friends and little brother. The way I usually celebrate Thanksgiving is having it potluck-style. Everyone brings in their own dishes, and the winner seems to always be my turkey cranberry sandwiches. The recipe is so easy and it’s delicious.
Here is all you need:
1) English Muffins
2) Sliced Turkey (either deli meat or turkey leftovers)
3) Cranberry Sauce
5) Sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
6) Sriracha spicy sauce (optional)
Toast the muffins, and spread the cranberry sauce and layer on the spinach. Then place the mozzarella cheese and then the warm turkey. The cheese melts in your mouth and the spicy Sriacha sauce adds the flavorful and unexpected kick in the sandwich. I can’t wait to make them again and I hope you try it and enjoy it! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
